Communitas 161 is a concert project that brings students of various ages
into retirement communities to perform for residents. The goal is to
provide a meaningful experience for elders, cultivate a habit of service
among students, and to encourage earnest and positive interaction across generations.

Active students within local music programs spend time performing for elders and interacting with them about music!
Performers are students between 7th and 12th grade. They perform at facilities in their own community!
